Derrick.J.Wyatt has provided a little background to Animated Alpha Trion, you may have noticed him near the end of "Transwarped" in the Council chamber next to Magnus. Wyatt states:
"Alpha Trion is head of all of the civilian guilds that make up the non military portion of the Autobot High Council. I guess this sort of makes him like a "vice-Magnus.""
Um, fine. Not much of an opinion you can say about this can you.
