Bernie Mac, also known as Bobby Bolivia to the Transformers fandom, passed away earlier this morning due to complications with pneumonia. He had previously been hospitalized and had suffered from sarcoidosis, which is an inflammatory lung disease that produces small lumps of cells in the body's organs.Bernie Mac passed away at age fifty. He was born in the year 1957.

This is very sad. It was the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning. Bernie Mac was a great actor and a hilarious comedian. I did not watch much of his work, but I will definitely remember him from roles in movie such as Madagascar, The Bernie Mac Sow, and of course, Transformers. May he rest in peace.

Yay!!! I purchased him off ebay from a local seller who apperntly went to comic con. I very very very much like this figure, great great repaint. Unforchunetly they did not change his grill and bumper in vehicle mode so were stuck with the increadible disgusting dull gray. Over all a great figure!

This just came out in US Retail Stores like Walmart and Target for $20 is the NEW Animated Power Bots Cyber Speed Bumblebee. Based on the Movie Cyber Stomping Talking Optimus Prime and Bumblebee that Came Out Last Year. This Figure is aimed at younger kids like the Bumper Battlers with tons of Voice and Sound Clips. He Says about 10 Different Phrases with sounds mixed in like the transformation sound, shooting laser sounds, and car siren and engine sounds. Also his eyes and Stinger/Taser Lights up Blue. He also can roll if you lay him down. He Also has his left hand extend and making punching sounds. He has good head and arm articulation but very little leg articulation. Little Kids and Bumblebee Fans will LOVE THIS!

Sean Long's Opinion: I Love Talking Transformers however even with my love for Bumblebee this figure can get annoying and it's only good if you like hearing Bumblebee talk and like a big display piece. I Recommend this for little kids or Bumblebee fans but not really for anyone else.

Transformers:Revenge of The Fallen Filming on hold Once More?

According to TFW2005, filming to the upcoming film "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen" has been put on old due to Shia LaBeouf's hand incident. Apparently, second unit filming will continue, while first unit filming will be taking a four week break. It has not been said if this will interfere with the movie's original release date, which is June 26, 2009.

Wow, that SUCKS... I know I cant really blame Shia since he was not drunk and since it was not entirely his fault, so yeah.. But this is still VERY disappointing. I am really hoping this does not delay the films release because it's original release date in actuality isn't very far away. If it is delayed, I am going to be pissed! I cannot wait ANY LONGER for possible Constructicons and if my fairy god parents granted my wish, Ultra Magnus.

Universe Ultra Silverbolt Found At US Retail!

Reports from around the web at such sites like Seibertron and TFW2005 have told of sightings for the Universe Ultra class Silverbolt figure. This figure was not supposed to be released for at least 3-5 weeks. The sightings have come from the Georgia and Virginia areas. Most of these sightings have come from Target stores. "Barrelass" of Seibertron.com has found Silverbolt by using Target.com so he would know what stores had them in stock.

LUCKY Barrelass! I want this figure so badly. I have been looking forward to this figure for SUCH A LONG TIME! To be precise, I have been wanting this figure ever since pictures first started popping up of this figure. I love this figure so much that If I could only purchase one more figure from the Universe line, the Silverbolt figure would probably be it. (Besides Unicron and G1 Optimus Prime.) so if you have been looking forward to this figure and need him NOW like me, get ready for this guy to start popping up at your local Target!

This is pretty cool. Now I know about how many Silverbolt's and Treadbolt's there will be. I am REALLY looking forward to the Universe Ultra Class Silverbolt figure because from what I've seen, he looks really cool and very fun to play with. I partially want to get the Treadbolt figure (a repaint of the Classics Voyager Jet/Skyfire figure), so that I will have the Jetfire mold. If I get the Treadbolt figure in stores, it will only cost approximately 30 dollars, whereas if I end up buying the Classics Jetfire figure off of Ebay, he will cost about 30-40 dollars.

Jizai Toys Powerglide Up For Auction!

The custom G1 esque Powerglide figure from Jizai Toys has been put up for auction. The figure is being sold on Yahoo Japan. the current price as this article is being read is 39,800 yen. I am unsure how much this will cost in American currency, but I am guessing the price would range from 50-75 dollars. Possibly even more.

I am totally excited about this guy. If I could purchase one, I would buy the figure in a heart beat. The figure looks very reminiscent of the G1 figure (which I have) an just looks EXTREMELY AWESOME. This figure is a definite improvement from his G1 self and if you can pick this figure up, you better not miss this great opportunity. Megatron Gets An Upgrade

According to Chud.com (http://www.chud.com/), Megatron will be receiving an upgrade in the sequel to the 2007 movie, "Transformers". Apparantly, Megatron may become transform into into a tank in "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen". As we all know, in the previous movie, Megatron was merely a Cybertronian jet of some sort, so it is nice that he will finally have an Earth mode vehicle.


This is pretty cool news, but it does have it's cons. Probably the best thing about this news is that when this figure comes out, we will actually know what we are playing with when the figure is in alternate mode. One of the main cons would be related to the movie. If Megatron is a tank, wouldn't that make him pretty slow when he is in his alternate mode. I liked how in the 2007 movie, Megatron was jet because he could fly anywhere and he was really fast. If he is a tank, transportation would be seemingly be harder, and he wouldn't be as fast. Then again, I'm probably wrong. Maybe making Megatron a tank would improve the character. who knows.

Store Exclusive on CLEARANCE!

There have been reports of a particular store exclusive going on clearance. Which figure could it be? Well, that figure would be the Target Exclusive Deep Space Starscream. This figure is a repaint of the original Voyager Class Movie Starscream figure into a silver color scheme. the figure has been out for nearly two months now and has finally gone on clearance. There are different reports that state that the figure is on clearance for either $13.98 to$9.98!

This is pretty cool. This clearance news almost makes me want to pick up the figure to keep him in box. I mean, I want to buy the figure due to the great deal, but I don't want to buy the figure because I do not really enjoy repaints. But if you do, and have been eyeing the figure on the shelves at Target, don't miss this terrific deal!

A New Hasbro Contest!

Featured at the Auto Assembly 2008 convention was a Hasbro booth. From their booth we have received some special information about an upcoming contest having to do with their UK website. If you purchase any item from hasbrotoyshop.co.uk between the dates of August 25 and September 14, 2008, you will automatically be entered to win three one of a kind Transformers Animated figures. The three figures consist of repainted versions of the Battle Begins Two Pack Deluxe Cybertronian Megatron, Supreme Class Roll Out and Command Optimus Prime, and Leader Class Bulkhead figures.

I have no interest in this competition whatsoever. I have already repainted my Battle Begins Megatron into a metallic silver color scheme, and it looks EXACTLY like that. I dislike the Bulkhead repaint seeing as the only difference I can find is that his face is green rather than silver, which looks funny because his face blends in with his head. The Supreme Class Optimus Prime looks exactly the same as the original. If there is any difference, then it isn't very noticeable. I just think that if Hasbro is going to have a competition, the prizes should be good. Like a Armada Unicron, or RID Ultra Magnus, or 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime. But if you are interested in winning one of the prizes, go purchase something off of the Hasbro Toy Shop!

Animated Voyager Blitzwing Found At Retail?!?!?!

As some of you may know, the Transformers Animated Blitzwing figure is not set to be released until October of 2008. Well, apparently the street date as been broken! TFW member RoyKop was fortunate enough to pick up the split personality triple changer from his local Wal Mart. Now you may be thinking "This is TOO good to be true." Well as you can tell from the picture featured above, it is!

Lucky RoyKop person. I have been wanting this figure since the character first appeared on the show. An from what I've seen in video reviews done by Youtubers Peaugh and Vangelus, this is a MUST have figure. I am hoping that this figure will be coming soon because my Lugnut figure needs a buddy to hang out with. Sean Long's Opinion: I Love the Activators and they are very fun articulated figures. Lockdown has a great Alt Mode and His Robot Mode is very nice minus the lack of his hook. He is definitely worth getting!
