Robot Replica's Ironhide and Optimus Photos.

Article By: Patrick Cuddy

Yizhi251 of the tf08.net forums has posted new images of ROTF robot replicas: Ironhide & Optimus Prime.

Ironhide is about 12 x 12 centimeters

Optimus Prime is about 14 x 9 centimeters.

Robot replicas are non-transformable, highly detailed versions of the characters seen on screen.

These are both new molds of the characters, which seem to be very accurate to their on screen counterparts.

Hmmm...Not to impressed by the whole reincarnation of the replicas... Wonder if they  make a huge devastator one. hmmm, maybe that will be worth getting.

Transformerarecool's Opinion: These Robot Replica's look nice, very detailed. Again, the fact that they don't transform is why I do not purchase these figures. The paint applications on the figures are nice. From what I've seen in stores from the 1st line, I think they are about scout size or a little larger.

iGear Autoscout Video Online

Article by Destron23

Youtube user comuswu has released a video showing the new iGear Autoscout and some features. His video can be viewed by clicking here. or by following the link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfka5juaYVY

I think my opinion's changed on this guy. His photos must have had bad lighting or something, because in the video, he's the right colours. He also has a nice little transformation and I'm glad he comes with an energon shard.

Hasbro Transformers Event Helmets on eBay

Article By Destron23

EBay seller jokersfunhouse has put two items on eBay, which he claims are part of promotional costumes for Hasbro events. The items are two helmets who are of Grimlock and Kickback. The starting bid is at 99.99 US dollars. These masks were crafted by Joe Stephen Theatre Masks & Millinery of New York. The seller's profile can be viewed by clicking here, Grimlock's auction can be viewed by clicking here and Kickback's auction can be viewed by clicking here. More pictures can be seen of these collectibles in their respective auctions.

I'm not very impressed, especially with Kickback, he's really bad looking. The quality on these guys isn't very good. Though for form, Grimlock's head looks pretty accurate and is the best out of the two helmets. I suppose they are both nice oddities to add to a collection, to my understanding, there's only one of each which exists, though I wouldn't pay 100 dollars for these.

Best Toy's Nemesis Command Center With Attack Drone

Article By Destron23

A new picture of the Nemesis Prime trailer has been released by Best Toy. It features an attack drone and the mold will also be featured in G1 Optimus Prime colours.

The colouring's quite nice on this figure, however I don't plan on picking it up. I don't own a classics Nemesis Prime, so getting his trailer wouldn't make much sense. I think they should have left the attack drone out of the set because it's Roller. I think they should just leave Roller for Optimus Prime's set instead.

ROTF Prime & Jetfire combined silhouette; Its a keychain

News Article by TransformersAreCool:

An image has surfaced of the combined mode of Optimus Prime & Jetfire for the upcoming Revenge of the Fallen movie. Although it is only a silhouette, you can make out how some of the features are. Universetf will bring you up-to-date news on this and other Transformers stories. As soon as we see colored, detailed images, Universetf will have it.
Transformerarecool's Opinion: I think this is awesome. The fact that they combine is really cool, but something that is more like armor and not to robots playing leapfrog with missiles on their back, I think once we see the full images (and toys) we will be blown away.
WST Dark Retribution set Review!

World Smallest Transfomers Dark Retribution set review Part 1-

This is a set that are tiny versions of the G1 figures in Black, with chrome parts. The review is 9:58. Each includes chromed swords, die-cast parts, and comes in deluxe display packaging. Randomly inserted will be 10 lucky draw sets, in all translucent plastic and chrome, like the Crystal Henkei Convoy. This is not the lucky draw one, but the normal ones. The set is limited to 500 pieces world-wide and is $85.95 @ tfsource.com .

Transformerarecool's Opinion: This set is beautiful, and they have same articulation as the G1's. These are basically G1 Dinobots scaled down, like how some bootleg movie legends were Voyager sized. If I was not getting the Alternity Convoy (Silver) I would get this, or the normal colored WST Dinobots. This is a set that wins my approval!

Toy Fair 2009 Hasbro Transformers Revenge of the Fallen HD

Article By Destron23

A new video from Toy Fair 2009 has been posted on youtube. The video shows many of the Revenge of The Fallen figures seen in earlier news. It demonstrates gimmicks of certain toys like the Devastator Showdown Playset, leader Optimus Prime and the Gravity Bots. It can be viewed by clicking here or following the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erNfWShllZY

I'm very pleased with this new video. Videos are usually always better than photos, especially if the video is in an HD format. If the sound gimmick on the Devastator playset is anything like he'll sound in the movie, Devastator will be epic! I don't think I'll pick them up, but the gravity bots have a pretty neat little gimmick. It looks like a real transformation taking place. And that leader Optimus is a must have! Amazing job Hasbro! You've done quite a fan service in giving Optimus Prime a Peter Cullen sound clip!

ROTF Demolishor Package/Bio

News Article by TransformersAreCool:

Demolishor isn't very bright, but he knows when to fight, and when to run and hide. Arriving on Earth to find Megatron destroyed, hiding seemed like the best option. Since then, he's taken a few smaller Decepticons under his protection, and built quite a little community. It hasn't been easy hiding among the humans that creep like a disease over this planet, but he and his companions are content until a new Decepticon leader emerges to guide them back to glory
This ebay auction that has ended shows ROTF Demolishor, the Stream Shovel shown in the trailers. It show Pictures of the box and bio (see above). This is a completely new mold, resembling the Terex RH400 Excavator. The colors are Silver, White, Yellow, and red with Purple translucent windows. This forms the Torso of Devastator. Still, it is unclear whether this one will combine with the others (with individual Bot modes) and be the rumored 2 foot tall Devastator. The Mech-Alive feature on this Transformer is that gears in the arm rotate when arms are moved.

http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-Transformers-movie-2-Voyager-DEMOLISHER-rare_W0QQitemZ170304539741QQihZ007QQcategoryZ155343QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

Details of Auction: The auction features same price (29.99) and Shipping (35.00) of the ROTF Voyager Optimus Prime. The seller : toys-models has 100% feedback. The item was in-hand (again) from Tokyo, Japan.

Transformerarecool's Opinion: I think this is an ingenuous new mold how the treads become wheels. The main flaws are this Transformer may have trouble standing up without the arms for support. I Really hope these combine, but if they don't, I am getting the individual Robots, because I think 6/7 robots have more play value than one giant one. Personally I am looking forward to Mixmaster the most.
New images of Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Optimus Prime

News article by Transformerarecool:

An auction on ebay has surfaced of the upcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime (voyager). This Optimus Prime is a direct repaint of the Optimus Prime mold from the 1st toyline. The figure features new paint around the chest, a new Autobot emblem painted on the side, Cybertronian symbols on the leg & hood, and some more paint detail around the abdomen. The figure also lacks the silver paint on the wheels. There is a possibility that will not carry over into production, but knowing Hasbro it most likely will. Gallery can be seen here:

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/revenge-of-the-fallen-voyager-class-optimus-prime-new-images-166866/

Details of sale: The item was on Ebay on Buy It Now price of $29.99 and shipping of 35.00. The item was in hand from Tokyo, Japan. The auction is now over, but pictures can be seen. Auction:
 http://cgi.ebay.com/2009-Transformers-movie-2-Voyager-OPTIMUS-PRIME-rare_W0QQitemZ170304309499QQihZ007QQcategoryZ155343QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Transformerarecool's Opinion:
The aesthetics of the Figure seems to be a little more dark with the orange/red chest paint, implying that the movie will most likely have a darker tone. I didn't pick up the first voyager, and I do not think i will Pick this one up. It seems that it still retains the "Peter Cullen" driver gimmick. The main turnoff for me is that it has a huge backpack that consists of the front of the cab. Maybe they will do a DIRECT g1 repaint, with nothing differing from the G1 paint scheme, it may be more coveted by collectors then.

Frenzy and Ravage Bust up for sale at BBTS

News Article By Destron23-
BBTS has up for sale their own exclusive bust of Ravage and Frenzy, both being Sounwave's minions. There is a limit of 600 busts being made and the price is going for $49.99 US Dollars.
The bust looks very nice, like all Transformers busts. I would prefer Rumble instead of Ravage though (Not that I dislike Ravage, I just think Rumble would be a better pairing for Frenzy). However, I do not intend on picking it up. My collection is based mostly on the actual transformers, though I would recommend this to anyone who has a bunch of different stuff in their Transformers collection (Transformers: Busts, calendars, movies, books etc..). It's a nice oddity and is quasi-rare for there's only 600 busts being made.

13 NEW Animated PICTURES!!!!!

News Article By Destron23-

WARNING Major spoilers below:

S250 has released some new animated pictures. They include:

- Highbrow
- Omega Sentinel/ supreme lab
- Spittor
- an IDWesque Arcee computer head. Apparently, the top secret access codes Arcee had in
Thrill of the Hunt was the key to Omega Supreme
- An older Sari which the sheet says upgraded Sari
- Half beaten Ultra Magnus, apparently beat by Shockwave!
- Space bridge
- An autobot named Mainframe
- Autobot technician: People speculate the technician is none other than actionmaster Kick-Off
- Human Optimus, Ratchet, Bumblebee and Bulkhead.
- Cyclonus transformation
- We also get a size comparison for Optimus Prime, Highbrow, Bumblebee, Strika, Megatron, Lugnut, Spittor, Cycolnus, Beachcomber, Brawn and Blackout.

Everything looks awesome! A lot of it relates to the spoilers we had yesterday. Ultra Magnus is the one to be pulvirised and by Shockwave! That will be an amazing episode. I bet the Soundwave's episodes will reference the G1 episode Only Human where Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Springer and Arcee were turned human. The human designs reminds me of a lot of stuff on www.deviantart.com . I think Bulkhead is definetly the worst looking, he looks like a jerk, which is not Bulkhead's personality. Bumblebee and Optimus are cool, Ratchet's hillarious. I bet we didn't get human Prowl because he'll be dead by that episode. The older/ upgraded Sari's cool. Wonder if that means season 3 is years later or she'll just upgrade like the picture suggests, also it matches the proportions of that robotic Sari picture we had a few months ago. I bet since Arcee lost her memory, she'll become a vicious psychopath like IDW Arcee (especially since the toy of animated Arcee has the swords like IDW Arcee). It's nice we get pictures of Cyclonus and his transformation his design is very G1 inspired. I'm not to excited about the spacebridge, looks like it's on some destroyed planetoid. I bet the omega lab is where we'll see how Omega Supreme and Omega Sentinels were made. I wonder if Highbrow will have a helicopter alt mode like his headmaster incarnation (Considering the autobots in Animated are usually ground vehicles [Safeguard being an exception]). The technician is Meh, if there were a toy I would buy it, his legs remind me of Ultra Magnus and his arm reminds me of Armada/Cybertron/Animated Red Alert. It's cool to see they're adding actiomaster Mainframe, his design is sweet, his mouth also reminds me a lot of Longarm. Blackout's huge! Spittor's design is sweet aswell! Spittor's alt mode reminds me of a Sharkticon and robot mode reminds me of that Quintesson guard (Allicon) seen in the G1 season 3 episode, The Killing Jar. To sum up my opinion, these new images are AWESOME!!!!

Here's a picture of the Quintesson Guard Allicon:

And here's someone's photoshop picture of the human group:

Here's some additional pictures:

NEW PHOTOS OF iGEAR AUTOSCOUT RELEASED
News Article by Destron23-
TF08 has revealed some new pictures of the upcoming iGear Autoscout (an obscure cassette minion of Soundwave in the G1 cartoon).

Here are the pictures:

Don't get me wrong, the mold on this guy looks really good, it's also nice that it appears that they'll give an energon crystal shard (hommaging Autoscout's episode and function), but I think the colouring isn't very good on this version of Autoscout. Here he's painted more blue, but Autoscout is depicted in the show as being more purple. Regardless, I plan on picking some form of the Autoscout be it the gears of war set or the iGear set.

New Images of TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN IRONHIDE

News Article by Disguy4-

Ebay seller yayabee has posted a new auction on the new Transformers Revenge of The Fallen Ironhide figure. The figure is basically a grey repaint of the original Transformers The Movie Ironhide figure. Other than the new grey paint scheme, changes include new weapons and a new "special program" faction symbol. You can view the auction for the figure here.

I'm actually not too interested in this figure. Not much has changed, I don't really care for the color scheme, the new weapon isn't so amazing that I JUST HAVE TO HAVE THE FIGURE, and I doubt this theme will appear in the film, so picking the figure up, IMO, is pointless. The "special program" faction symbol is pretty neat/ HILARIOUS though. An Autobot symbol wearing a friggin beret.... Nice one Hasbro!

Transformers Animated SEASON THREE SPOILERS

News Article by Destron23-

According to Kickback (a member of the tfw2005 boards who has access to animated spoilers like S250) on the tfw2005 podcast supplemental, there are a few spoilers for season 3:

- Soundwave will return in a 2 episodes (one after the other) and the episodes will be a big hommage to a G1 season 3 episode.

- There will be a battle royale between 2 characters, one will win while the other will be beaten so bad, he'll be litterally missing almost half his body. It is unconfirmed if this character dies or not.

- There will be a voice actor who will reprise he/she had in a previous series.

- After Prowl dies, he gets a funeral

These spoilers sound very interesting to me. I wonder if Prowl's funeral will be similar to Beast Wars Dinobot. I'm excited for the return of Soundwave, and I'm doubly excited they're going to be homaging a G1 season 3 episode. I wonder who the unfortunate Autobot or Decepticon will be? I'm certain it won't be Safeguard (I'm sure people will speculate him because of a half missing from the character's body) As for the surprise voice actor, I hope it will be Paul Eiding who voiced Perceptor in G1 and will hopefully return for animated.
