Sources from Tformers.com have reported sightings of the Transformers Animated Activators figures at Toys R Us. So far, only wave 1 of the Activators line has been released. The wave 1 assortment includes Activators Starscream, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead. So if you are interested in figures that Transform at the touch of a button, then head out to your local Toys R Us stores as soon as possible.
I have mixed feelings about these figures. The concept of a Transformer that can transform at the touch of a button is AWESOME, but it would have been A LOT more impressive if they used this concept on bigger scaled figures such as deluxe figures. Another thing that is kind of a turn off about the Activators line is the robot modes on the figures. The robot modes look kind of silly and are not very attractive. Despite all of the negatives about the Activators line, I will definitely be checking out Starscream and a few other figures.
