News Article by Disguy4- We have received confirmation from TFW2005 that Jetfire will indeed be an Autobot. It was previously believed that the character Jetfire, who is slated to appear in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, was going to be on the Decepticon force. This however was only part of Michael Bay's attempts to trick us into believing false information. If you had not previously known, Jetfire will be making his appearance in the upcoming sequel as an SR-71 Blackbird.
This is FREAKIN' awesome! When I had heard that Jetfire was going to be allied with the Decepticons, something inside of me had felt somewhat disappointed. But luckily, all of that was false! If I do not obtain the Classics Jetfire/Skyfire figure by the time the sequel's action figures begin to hit the shelves, the Revenge of The Fallen Jetfire would be my first experience with a Jetfire figure, and I didn't really want to see Jetfire as a Decepticon.
