Nevermore of TFW2005 has gotten his/her hands on a photograph of the Deluxe Class Jetfire and Jetstorm figures in their packaging. If you had not know already, the two figures are combiners (when combined, the two form Safeguard) and are members of the Elite Guard.
Along with this photograph of the two figures in packaging, we have also received some information regarding the previous pictures we had received of the Transformers Animated Jetstorm and Jetfire figures. Apparently the figures had been mistransformed in the photographs we had received. In robot mode, Jetfire and Jetstorm will indeed have hands. And in vehicle mode, the two combine in such a way so that an X forms on the back of the jet.
This is very good news. Although I did think the Transformers Animated Jetfire and Jetstorm figures did look very neat, I was a bit worried about the looks of the hands on their robot modes, and how they looked when the two figures combine in vehicle mode. I think these two figures look great in packaging and I also think the packaging for the two figures is neat as well.
