Allspark have posted some interesting background knowledge for new characters entering Animated Season 3. Apparantly, this information comes straight from the TFCC Magazine:

RODIMUS PRIME - CAVALIER
On the way "to becoming Magnus."
IRONHIDE - SECURITY
Good-natured countrybot.(already fully previewed at the club site, I know)
RED ALERT - FIELD MEDIC
Her design takes some cues from her Armada namesake, esp. her left-hand module.
HOT SHOT - PYROTECHNICS
Armada look, Energon colors works well. Speedy but inexperienced.
BRAWN - DEMOLITIONS
Smaller'n 'Bee, stronger'n Bulky.
STRIKA - GENERAL OF DESTRUCTION
Pretty much the BM version in new colors....and LUGNUT's consort. O.O
CYCLONUS - SABOTEUR
...sounds a little like Dead End in the body of ol' rabbitears.

TRANSFORMERS ON TOP TEN (BOYS) TOYS LIST!

Yahoo have put up multiple lists of the top ten, well, whatever you can think of. One of the categories is the top ten boys toys. Included on the list is the Transformers Animated Supreme Class Roll Out Command Optimus Prime figure. The figure appears on the list along with it's picture, prices, and a description of the figure. You can view the list here.

Wow, this is pretty cool. It is kind of obvious that Transformers would be one of the top ten boys toys, but I was still surprised to see Optimus on there. I am not sure if he SHOULD be one of the top ten boy toys though. There are so many other great figures out there like Animated Blitzwing, 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime, Universe Unicron.... But at least Transformers made it on the list!

This remold will include yet another new head, new weapon, and (as inticated by the on set Camaro), a new front of car. He is also donned in his Movie Premium paint scheme.

Wow this looks good! I will get this as this is not just a re-release, but a remold that looks as said before, very good!

Henkei Ironhide Released!

Henkei Ironhide is now instock at BigBadToyStore! He is available for about $15.99 normally.

Differences include the G1 yellow strip, chrome, and a sliver face instead of blue metallic.

I will be getting Henkei Ironhide instead of the Universe version as his face problem has not been sorted.

TF08 has given us a small picture of what appears to be the second Revenge of The Fallen confirmed toy! For those of you who missed out on Movie Wreckage, rejoice as a 'jungle' repaint is to be made of him and sold in the ROTF toy line!

I would still rather get the original Wreckage deco but I guess this will be a good match up with Jungle Bonecrusher.

First Size Comparison for Possible ROTF Soundwave!

Tformers has once again come to us with another picture of the possible Revenge of The Fallen Soundwave figure. This time is different though as we have our first size comparison (G1 Soundwave)!

The figure is either a Deluxe or Voyager size, so have your say in the UniverseTF Forums!

Still no confirmation of this being Soundwave, but considering how long the news has been around, I will be suprised if it isn't.

Universe Ratchet Confirmed!

BigBadToyStore has posted a listing for Universe Ratchet! The figure was set to be a Henkei exclusive, but now, it appears that it will be released on the Hasbro side of things. Ratchet will be released alongside Hot Shot in Wave 6, March 2009.

Now this is interesting. I will like to see how this turns out, cause if it looks better than the Henkei version, well...

TFormers have posted the first real clear pictures of the possible Deluxe Revenge of The Fallen Soundwave!

Much better! This figure looks amazing and I don't see why people are complaining that his alt mode looks too much like Cybertron Vector Prime. It shows that not every single tranformer has a different alt mode!

TFW2005 has been given official images of Animated Samurai Prowl and Waspinator:

Both these figures are set for release in the US around January/February in Animated Wave 6, As for the UK, Samurai Prowl is supposed to be out now! If any of you sight him, please contact me in the forums.

Waspinator still looks awesome, even though some of the detail has gone. But as for the so-called 'Sumo Prowl', he doesn't actually look that bad now! As I have said many times before, if I see him, I'll get him!

First look at ROTF Packaging!

Forget the rubbish repaint it contains, have a look at our first ever look of the styling for Transformers:Revenge of The Fallen packaging!

As you can see, it has the ROTF logo, like it's movie predecessor, a head shot, but this time more side on, and gold hieroglyphic background replacing the silver background.

UPDATE: The eyes up the top belong to The Fallen!

I don't think I have ever gotten so excited about packaging before! It looks amazing! On a more serious note though, it looks like some remnants of the Universe line will descend into the bottomless pit that will be another outstretched line.

TF08 has posted the first in hand picture of Animated Activators Cliffjumper:

Cliffjumper is a repaint (wit remolded head) of Activators Bumblebee and will be released alongside Dirge in Wave 5 at the end of the year.

As I have said in many previous posts, Cliffjumper will be the only Activator I will get for the moment. If a Deluxe class is announced before then, then this guy is off the list.

New Masterpiece and Alternity Pictures!

Hobby Japan magazine has got three new pictures for us to marvel upon before the featured figures' releases. First up, is a collaberation of Masterpiece Grimlock photos already seen, except for one which gives us our first size comparison (G1 Grimlock)!

The last two pictures are of Alternity. The first is concept art of Megatron:and the second is our first size comparison of Convoy (Optimus Prime):Masterpiece Grimlock is HUGE! No wonder he's costing so much! Alternity Megatron i'm not so interested in, but Convoy on the other hand I will get in silver. He does look like a good Deluxe size, even though he costs 34 bucks...

New images of Transformers Animated Brawn

A friend of TFW2005 has brought us new images of the 

Transformers Animated Brawn character. The image is 

currently uncolored, but gives us a look at Autobot Brawn's

robot and vehicle modes. The vehicle mode appears to be 

a mixture of a truck and a tank, or to put it simply, a truck 

with treads. Brawns robot mode is a short and stubby 

character and appears as if he will be very strong.

This is pretty darn amazing. I'm really digging the character's 

design. I like how the character's robot mode is very short 

and stubby and how Brawn looks muscular. I am sure that with 

a character design like this, that this character will be receiving

a fun and interesting toy. My only hope for this character's figure

is that Hasbro does not go and make Brawn a figure that is

smaller than a deluxe.

More Images of Suspected ROTF Soundwave!

HK-TF has given us another look (photoshopped for more detail by TFW2005) at the suspected toy for ROTF Soundwave's robot mode. But of more interest, It has also revealed what looks like his Cybertronian mode, hinting that we maybe getting two Soundwaves!

Considering that these are the first images of toys that we've had, I think it's very possible that we may have a pre-movie toy here, following after the Protoforms in the first movie.

Yahoo Japan is realing in the news stories as yet again an auction has given us a first look at box art, this time of Henkei Ironhide!

Henkei Ironhide is out now! Differences to the Universe Classics version are an original silver face, chrome, and a G1 accurate yellow stripe.

A very nice looking figure here. Will definitley be picking him up if the right deal comes along!

New Sign that Hasbro is in fact growing a brain!!!-I mean, new sticker found on Animated Optimus Prime

Well It appears that hasbro has FINALLY discovered that the once great autobot leader is missing an autobot emblem on the animated figures. And so now they are starting to ship them out with the emblem adhered to the Toy.

OMFG!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Wow..... They just now noticed this, ok I know this is a bit of an over reaction but now there just rubbing the fact that there ripping us off in our face. At least thats the way Im seeing it. " Oh we forgot to put the stickers on...oops our bad, lets just do that over again." Grrrr, there trying to squeeze EVERY little cent out of your wallet. Man-o-man, I know I have close to zero idea on how this company works but, from the way I see it, they could be doing SO MUCH more with these figures. The molds are great, but the size and quallity, paint apps, ect. Give us stickers or something, we'll do those things!!!! I dunno, I hate this repaint crap....

I on the other hand am glad I picked up Alternators Prime rather than Animated Prime. This is a warning to every one of you, if you don't have him, don't get him until you see this change!

Now, the picture of the toy:

Once again, we thank TF08 for the picture. Also, notice how on the leaked design for Soundwave, he has a Chevrolet badge on his "grill", and how it has disappeared on the toy though the grill still remains.

This is starting to look a lot more like the Soundwave we know. After looking at a previous picture, I have concluded that this is a Deluxe class, putting it on the more reachable areas of peoples cash.

Reprolabeled Animated Jazz Photos!

Recently I recived my animated Upgrade kit for Animated Jazz, Ultra Magnus, and Sentinel Prime. I do not have the last two, but We will have photos of them soon. Enjoy the Photos!

Now to explain the BEWARE, it appears once you put the stickers on his head, it makes it too thick to fold back down in his hood. So you need to file down the plastic where it meats the the top of the ears. That way the head my pass Unscratched.

WWWWOOOOWWWW, I love the stickers. Looks the best in vehicle mode. I definately recomend picking this thing up. Amazing, but ver hard to put on!!!
