Shia's Shame On Ebay!

There is a brand new auction on Ebay which is just a little strange. The auction is for some of the debris left over from the car accident Shia LaBeouf was involved in. Here is part of the auction's description:

"This is your chance to own a piece of Hollywood History... Own a piece of his shame. I just happen to live a few blocks from the crash site and collected some leftover souvenirs."

And in case you we're skeptical about partaking in this auction:

"The debris was collected afterwards and was in the public domain on the street. It's legal."'

Wow, whoever wins this auction must be pretty idiotic. Any old fool could just get some wrecked car parts and claim that it is from Shia LaBeouf's accident. Plus, even if this auction is legit, what are you going to do with some wrecked car parts from one of Shia LaBeouf's accidents? Are you going to search for some of his DNA and make a clone of him? I am just hoping that whoever wins this moronic auction doesn't spend over what it is worth... Nothing.

SDCC Exclusive Nemesis Prime Figure Shipping?

News Article by Disguy4-

Those of you lucky punks who we're fortunate enough to pick up this beautiful repaint, your wait for the figure is almost over. Various members from The Allspark have already received shipping notices from The Hasbro Toy Shop (HTS) that their packages have already been shipped out. So if you ordered one of these bad boys, he may be arriving to your home shortly. If you have been living under a rock, the SDCC Exclusive Nemesis Prime figure is a repaint of the Classics Voyager Optimus Prime figure. The figure is now in a black and blue-ish color scheme, and has been compared to Barney (Spada of TFWire fame).

I am pretty jealous about this. I ABSOLUTELY HATED this figure with a passion when pictures of this figure first came out, but over time, the figure seemed to grow on me. The color scheme is pretty nice and kind of cool looking. If only I could have ordered this guy.... The only thing I wish they could have done with the figure is perhaps retool it a bit. Give it a new head, you know, make it different. But, oh well, that's just me.

25th Annniversary Optimus Prime Up For Grabs?

News Article by Disguy4-

KBToys has now put up a pre-order for the 25th Anniversary Reissue G1 Optimus Prime figure. The figure was originally told to be released December 1, 2008. The pre-order on the KB website says that the figure will be shipped out on November 1, 2008. The figure will be officially released by KBToys on November 16, 2008. The figure is listed to cost $69.99.

I was pretty surprised about this news. I wasn't expecting this figure to come out until December, since it will come just in time for Christmas. But no worries, since this figure will be coming out in November, it will be here just in time for my birthday :) Now, I was wondering if this figure will be out in stores or just a online exclusive. Well, now that we know about Optimus Prime, when will we hear about the Armada Unicron reissue?

Sweet, can't wait for the galvatron, he looks pretty decent. I might be getting acid storm to paint it into thundercracker, or sunstreaker. I still got my eyes peeled for the Ultras.

Shia LaBeouf not at fault

News article by Disguy4-

Authorities have come o a conclusion that Shia LaBeouf is not at fault for a car accident that he was involved in. The accident just happened within the last week. LaBeouf had apparently made an illegal turn and got into a crash. He and his passenger did get injured, but nothing severe occurred. Now, you may be wondering "why did the authorities decide that he is not at fault?". He is not at fault because the other driver who crashed into him had ran a red light. Here is what the representative for the authorities, Steve Whitmore, had to say of the matter:

"He was not at fault." (Real deep, huh? :D )

I am not too interested in this whole situation anymore. It is really bugging me that this article is clogging all of the Transformers news websites. I know I sound like a hypocrite, since I am posting this here, but news is news :P The one good thing that we have to gain from this news is that Shia will be able to partake in the filming of "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen" without any delay.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen SPOILERS!

News Article by Disguy4-

We have now gained some key information about the happenings of the sequel to the 2007, movie, "Transformers". Two interviews have come out where two of the head honchos from IDW have released some interesting information about the sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen."

SPOILERS BELOW

The first interview that we have is one where we receive some information from Simon Furman. Furman then goes on to say that "The Fallen" may indeed be the character from the comics. If you are unfamiliar with the comics (as I am), you may remember the character from the Titanium Series. Here is what Furman had to say:

"It's interesting that the second movie is using this character called the Fallen, which is a character that we created back in the Dreamwave days for this big series called 'The Dark Ages' which tapped into what had gone before. So these names and institutions like The 13 are rolling on into different incarnations."

The second interview that has taken place interviews Chris Morwry. Mowry pretty much confirms that The Fallen will be in the movie. Here is what Mowry had to say:

We're going to explore the background of The Fallen — the main villain of the movie — as well as expand on the ‘Reign of Starscream’ story that we’re doing and tie everything in to what this next movie is going to be [...] The next movie starts out with just tons of action and there’s obviously going to be a lot of questions, so we’re hoping to answer some of those beforehand.”

This is pretty cool. I am just wondering why they decided to make The Fallen the main villain of the movie. Where did that come from and how come Megatron isn't the head villain? One ting that I am DEFINITELY excited about is seeing how they show off Starscream becoming a ruler. If you would like to read the original reports, click on the following links:

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen Trailer to air soon?

News Article by Disguy4-

According to a post on the Don Murphy boards composed by Robert Orci, we may be getting a look at the first trailer to the sequel to the 2007 movie, "Transformers". Orci has said that you may see the trailer when you see the movie "Eagle Eye" this September. "Eagle Eye" is a movie starring Shia Labeouf about two people who survive with the help of a computerized voice on a telephone. Check out the original post at the following link:

YAY! I cannot wait to see the trailer. I will DEFINITELY be checking out "Eagle Eye", as the trailers that I've seen for the movie look incredibly awesome. I am hoping that we will be getting some decent footage of some of the upcoming robots in the upcoming film. I am definitely expecting to see the Constructicons, as the rumors of their appearance in the film have not yet been declined, and I am desperately hoping to see Cheetor or Ultra Magnus :) I do know a family member who knows some info about the Transformers films via his job, and he has told me that one of the robots they have always been considering was Rodimus Prime/Hot Rod. could this be true? Check out the trailer to find out!

Optimus Prime a winner!

News Article by Disguy4-

On the days of July 26 an July 27, the 2008 Truckstar Festival was hosted. The festival was hosted at the TT race track in Assen, Netherlands. At the event, truckers from all around Europe show off what they've got. There is one event of interest that occurred at the festival, which is the Airbrush Competition. A very special contestant won. Jan Brandt, who won the contest, won with his Optimus Prime inspired color scheme The truck has a HUMONGOUS picture of Optimus Prime and looks pretty cool. Congratulations Jan!

This man named Jan is very smart :) He knows that you can never go wrong with robots. Transformers, Boogie Bots, Gundam... But seriously, this is pretty neat. It is about time that some trucker realizes that they could attract a lot of attention if their truck is similar to a Transformer. You can check out the rest of the pictures at the following link:

Shia LaBeouf Arrested!

News article by Disguy4-

There are now reports of Shia LaBeouf, best known as Sam Witwicky from the 2007 movie Transformers, being arrested. Shia was abused of driving under the influence. Apparently, Shia made an illegal turn and striked another vehicle. Shia suffered some hand injuries which may need surgery, while his passenger suffered from some minor head injuries. Presently, it is still undecided if Shia will be charged of felony or a misdemeanor DUI charge.

This is somewhat disappointing to me. I don't understand why stars of Hollywood are unable to control themselves. One concern that I have is will this interfere with the filming of the sequel to "Transformers", "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen". If so, he is an idiot, if not, good luck to him.

New Pictures of Upcoming Transformers!

News Article by Disguy4-

TFW2005 has brought us new pictures from the San Diego Comic Con. In the following photos, we get a look at some new Animated figures such as a repaint of Leader class Megatron and the Longarm/Shockwave figure. We also get a look at some new Universe figures such as Hound, Inferno, and Cheetor. The new figures include Legends, Deluxes, Ultras, Voyagers, and Leader classes. You can check out the photos at the following link:

YAY. I'm not exactly feeling the repainted Megatron figure or the Legend class figures, but the rest of the new figures look awesome. Hound, Cyclonus, and Inferno caught my eye because they all look very similar to their G1 counterparts. And how could I forget about Cheetor?!?!?!? I am not too sure if I like it's looks yet. I am hoping for dear life that it was mis-transformed in the pictures taken of the figure. So if you've been wanting a sneak peek at some upcoming figures, here they are!

Video & Picture Review of Animated Activators Ratchet

 Article by Sean Long:

I Bring You Animated Activators Ratchet.

This Guy is Very Fun and Articulated. His Alt Mode and Robot Mode is very Mini Deluxe Ratchet. The Way he Gets his "Gut" is the Angle his front is held up in robot mode is a great touch. Besides the Hand Articulation he has the Same Articulation of Deluxe Ratchet without those Magnets popping up! He has the broken head fin and a real grumpy face in robot mode unlike the sad face in the Deluxe version. His Upper Body and Arms Transform when you hit the back of his roof for the activation transformation. You fold his roof parts of his shoulders back to the side. Then you split the back of the roof to form the front and back of his feet which is a very cool thing in a transformation.

Sean Long's Opinion: He is like the Bumblebee of Wave 2 Activators for he's fun, articulated, and cartoon accurate. He's definitely worth buying!

Revealing Comic Con Photo

News Article By Disguy4-
Courtesy of TFW2005 and the Transformers Collector's Club, we have received a new image of the new Transformers Collector's Club Exclusive Seacons. The figures are in package and look GREAT. Now, the main focus of the photographs is clearly the Seacons pack, but in one of the pictures we get some clear shots of other products. Out of the products, the most notable would be the Bumblebee three pack. Now, we only get to see half of the packaging, revealing Animated Bumblebee and Camaro Concept Bumblebee. But this is not totally bad, seeing as we just got pictures of the repainted Classics Bumblebee figure this past week. In the picture you can clearly make out that the packaging is similar to the movie styled packaging.
I am not too interested in this news. The only thing I was interested in was seeing some more pictures of the Bumblebee three pack. Now, I was considering picking the three pack up just so I could get my hands on the repainted Classics Bumblebee figure, but after I had some time to think, I may not open the three pack if I purchase it. But if you are a part of the Collector's Club and wanted to see some pictures of the new Seacon's pack, your wish has been granted.

Video & Picture Review of Animated Activators Optimus Prime

News Article by Sean Long:

I got Animated Activators Optimus Prime along with Ratchet and Lockdown from the Wave 2 Activators and he is the Best One By far. Minus the Waist Articulation he has the Same Articulation of Voyager Optimus Prime plus his head can look up and down. Also like Activators Starscream he's the tallest of the Activators with him plus is a Mini Version of his Voyager Toy. His Legs Transform Similar to the Voyager toy. His Activating Transformation is in his Upper Body then you just unfold the wheels parts of the legs and pull up his feet. If You like the Activators line then you will LOVE This Guy and I Highly Recommend Him!

Sean Long's Opinion: DEFINITELY Love Prime the Best and then Starscream. He's like a Mini Voyager Prime and I love the Activators. Very Fun Toys.

Dinobots NOT in Transformers:Revenge of The Fallen

News Article by Disguy4-

Yes it is true, it has been confirmed that the Dinobots will NOT be in Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. This new information pretty much shoots down an article which I had put up this past week entitled "Dinobots IN Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen." The news was confirmed by both of the writers for the film, Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Orci's reasoning for excluding the Dinobots from the sequel is the following:

"We couldn't quite figure out how to justify a robot that would pretend to be a dinosaur."

Along with the news of the Dinobots, the writers have confirmed the theme of the movie. The 2007 movie was about a boy and his car whereas this film will be about:

"It’s about being away from home. It’s a few years later and Sam is going to finally go to college and he’s going to face being away from home just as the Autobots are having to deal with being away from Cybertron."

This is SUCKY news! I was REALLY hoping the Dinobots could be included in the sequel to the 2007 movie. Who needs reasoning, Grimlock is a dinosaur because he WANTS to be a dinosaur. Just for that, I am NOT watching the sequel....

Just kidding. I can handle the news. It isn't anything major. But if they don't have the Constructicons, I'm going to be pissed... :)

Henkei Skyfire Boxed

News Article by Astrotrain52

Thanks to TFW2005.com, we now have an in-box image of the Henkei Voyager Class Skyfire (Jetfire). Judging by the pictures, the box is just about the same size as C-01 Convoy (Optimus Prime) and D-01 Megatron. For those wanting a G1 accurate Skyfire/Jetfire or haven't picked up the American version, now is your chance! This item should be released soon in Japan.

Astrotrain's opinion:

I'd say a definate pick up for those that can afford it. I'm passing, I already have the American release, and despite the Japanese one being more G1 accurate, I like the American one much better. But this one will be easier to get, as the American ones are getting more expensive and harder to find. For those of you wanting to save a few dollars, wait for Treadbolt in the Universe line. Expect pricing for Henkei Skyfire to be about $40-$48 USD plus shipping. Its an awesome mold, which ever one you choose (Classics Jetfire, Henkei Skyfire, or Universe Treadbolt) you should pick up at least one version of my favorite Transformer toy.

New Pictures of Walmart Exclusive Bumblebee Three Pack

News Article by Disguy4-

New pictures have surfaced of the repainted Classics Bumblebee figure featured in the upcoming Bumblebee three-pack. The Classics Bumblebee figure has been repainted into the 2007 movie color scheme. So basically, all of the white stripes on the original Classics Bumblebee figure have been painted into black stripes. This pack will include this particular figure, the Camaro Concept Bumblebee figure, and the Animated Bumblebee figure. The three pack will be a Walmart exclusive, so look out for that.

This is pretty cool. I am really digging the new color scheme. The new black stripes make the figure look very sleek and awesome. I did notice that somehow, they managed to put the jet pack on to Bumblebee's arm. I originally was not planning to pick up this three pack, but after seeing the pictures for the repainted Classics Bumblebee figure, I may have to reconsider. So if you have been looking forward to this upcoming Bumblebee three pack, your wait is coming to an end.

Bumblebee Speaks!

Mark Ryan, the voice of Bumblebee from the 2007 movie "Transformers", will be returning for the sequel, "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen." As we all know, Bumblebee's vocal processors (is that what it was?) were broken in the 2007 movie. But apparently, Bumblebee has gotten his vocal chords back! Mark Ryan had this to say about the movie:

”I can confirm that I am working on Transformers 2 - Revenge Of The Fallen and have been given the same job on set, voicing the Autobots for the actors, and have already done some voiceover work in the studio as well. It’s a privilege to work with the cast and crew again, it's very exciting and we are having a great time. I cannot comment on details about the film or the script, but there are some new characters that fans will love.”

This is very good news. We finally get to here Bumblebee's voice! Also note that Mark Ryan said there are more characters we might not know about yet. I REALLY hope they can squeeze in the Dinobots or the Constructicons. I think the Constructicons would look AMAZING in a live action movie. So if you were looking for more info on the sequel to the 2007 movie, here it is. You can check out the original interview at the following link:

New Pictures of Elite Guard Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime!

News Article by Disguy4-
New pictures have been given to us from the Transformers community. The pictures are photographs of the Elite Guard Bumblebee figure and the Sentinel Prime figure. According to the reviewer of Elite Guard Bumblebee, the only differences are his color scheme and his stingers actually fit into his arms. The Sentinel Prime photos display him in his packaging, in his robot mode, in his alternate mode, and him reenacting some scenes from the show. Check out the rest of the photos at the following link:

This is pretty cool. I am not to excited about the Elite Guard Bumblebee seeing as it is just a repaint and has a pretty ugly color scheme. I am VERY excited about the Sentinel Prime figure though. At first I was not too excited, but over time the figure has grown on me. One thing that disappoints me is that I wish the Sentinel Prime figure was a voyager class figure rather than a deluxe. I believe the toy could have looked A LOT better if it had been bigger. So if you have been awaiting these figures for a long time and want to see some awesome pictures of the two, go check out the photos!

Dinobots in Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen?

News Article by Disguy4-

Blackout501st has just posted a bulletin on Youtube. The bulletin contains some crucial information for possible info on the sequel to the 2007 movie "Transformers." the bulletin claims that Blackout501st read from an untold source that the Dinobots are being re-considered for the sequel! The Dinobots were previously considered, but were turned down. But apparently, the prehistoric bots are being re-considered.

This is VERY exciting. I do not know if this news is legit, but when I read it, I got EXTREMELY excited. I love the Dinobots, and I would like to see how they would work out in a live action movie. If the Dinobots are going to appear in the film, what will happen to the Constructicons who were previously rumored to be in the sequel? Hopefully both of them will be squeezed into the movie.

New images of 25th anniversary Optimus Prime

New images of the upcoming G1 Optimus Prime figure from the Universe line have just surfaced onto the inter-web. The images show the figure in and out of it's packaging. The figure will come with the figure itself, a reissue of the first Transformers Comic released, and an Autobot insignia that comes with noises voiced by Peter Cullen himself!

I am TOTALLY excited about this. I have always wanted this figure, and thanks to the new Universe line, I get to pick up G1 Optimus Prime AND Armada Unicron. I think the Autobot insignia idea is pretty cool, but I am not too interested in the comic included. I think it is cool that it is the first one ever published, but as I have mentioned before, I do not care for comics. So if you missed out on your chance to get this figure before, or just want another one, G1 Prime is coming soon....BTW, check out the pictures at the following link:

New Spotlight Comic Character Revealed

News Article by Disguy4-

New preview pictures for the next Transformers Spotlight have been revealed on the Deviant Art page for the Transformers mosaics. This time, the spotlight is focused on the fastest things on wheels. And no, it is not Bumblebee. It is Blurr! Shane McCarthy will be doing the script, Casey Coller will be doing the ink and pencils, and Joana Lafuente will be doing the colors. So if you are a fan of the Spotlight comics, rejoice! Blurr will be coming soon.

I do not keep up with ANY Transformers comics, let alone the Spotlight series. Because of this, I am not too interested in this great news. But for those who do keep up with the comics, congratulations. I am just not a big fan of reading, even if what I'm reading has to do with one of my favorite series in the WORLD. But I do think it is cool that a Blurr Spotlight will be coming, because the character does interest me, and I do like his character in the Animated series. New Trademark Placed By Hasbro

News Article by Disguy4-

Transformers at the Moon has brought us some more GREAT news, apparently a new trademark application has been placed by Hasbro. Hasbro has trademarked the name "Sideswipe". That's right, Sunstreaker's brother and the Autobot prankster.

This is pretty cool. I am wondering where Hasbro will be using the name and how soon. I do not know much about the character, but it will be nice to learn about him when the figure comes out. So if you've been awaiting a new Sideswipe figure for your collection, your wish has been granted.

Animated Ultra Magnus Up For Grabs At Target.com

News Article by Disguy4-

Target.com has just put up orders for one of the Transformers Animated Leader Class figures. Target is now selling the Leader Class Ultra Magnus figure on their website. The toy will cost approximately 40 dollars and features electronic lights and sounds. so if you are looking for an Autobot to lead your Elite Guard Figures, go check our Target.com NOW!

This is pretty neat. I'm not interested in buying Transformers Animated toys off of the Internet seeing as the toys are already in stores, but for people who purchase their Transformers off of the web or just cannot wait for this figure to be released, this would be GREAT news. I love this figure (who doesn't love a robot who can carry an axe?), but his mouth is very disappointing. As mentioned in a previous post about this figure, his mouth kind of looks like a marionette. But I can look past that, from what I have seen, he is a DEFINITE must have.

Bumblebee gets an Upgrade

News Article by Disguy4-

Jalopnik.com has updated us with some new images of Bumblebee from Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen! Bumblebee has been upgraded with a new alternate mode. His new alternate mode would be the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. the car sports the original color scheme, yellow with black stripes. the main difference would be the look of the car. The car has gotten some upgrades, but the upgrades are not currently known. Check out ALL of the photos at the following link:

This is pretty awesome. I am happy that Bumblebee will be getting an upgrade, because I would have been bored if we saw the same alternate mode in the sequel. Plus, with all of the success that Bumblebee has brought to the 2007 Transformers movie, he deserves a make over. I am just hoping that Hasbro doesn't re-release figures for the characters from the 2007 movie, just with a FEW upgrades, because I'm not looking forward to buying another Movie Ratchet and Ironhide that just has a different weapon or head sculpt.

Megatron on Front Page of Yahoo.com

News Article By Disguy4-

There is a news article featured on the front page of Yahoo.com that features the 16 most famous villains of all time. Among the list are villains such as Voldemort, Darth Vader, and Syndrome from "The Incredibles". Megatron is ranked as number 4 just behind The Joker, Darth Vader, and Voldemort.

This is INCREDIBLY cool and is good exposure for people who have never heard of Transformers. But I do believe that Megatron should have come before Voldemort from the Harry Potter series. go check out the original article by clicking on the following link:
